DTMU Admission 2026: Eligibility, Process and How to Apply

David Tvildiani Medical University has a straightforward admission process for Indian students, with two intakes a year. There is no separate university entrance test, and no IELTS or TOEFL is required. A qualified NEET score is mandatory for Indian students who plan to practise in India.
Eligibility for Indian students
- Completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Minimum 50 percent aggregate in PCB for the general category, 40 percent for reserved categories, in line with NMC norms. Confirm your exact eligibility with the admissions team.
- A qualified NEET score, as required by the National Medical Commission.
- At least 17 years of age by 31 December of the admission year.
- A working command of English.
Intakes
DTMU runs two intakes each year:
- Fall intake: September
- Spring intake: February or March
There is no rigid deadline, but seats are limited and are filled on a first come basis, so early application is strongly advised.
How to apply, step by step
- Submit your application with your 10+2 marksheet, NEET scorecard, and passport details.
- Receive your official offer letter from the university, usually within about seven working days of a complete application.
- Accept the offer and complete the enrolment and document procedures, including translation, notarisation, and recognition. This stage typically takes about two to four weeks.
- Receive your official invitation letter for the student visa.
- Apply for the Georgian student visa with your invitation letter, passport, and proof of funds.
- Travel to Georgia and complete on ground registration to begin your studies.
