What this means for Indian students
Because DTMU is NMC recognised and WDOMS listed, Indian graduates are eligible to appear for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), and for the NExT once it is in force, in order to obtain a licence to practise in India. The USMLE based curriculum is designed to strengthen this preparation. Recognition status is reviewed periodically, so always confirm the current position on the official NMC website at nmc.org.in before you enrol.
Global licensing pathways

The MD degree supports multiple licensing routes: the USMLE for the United States, the PLAB for the United Kingdom, and the FMGE or NExT for India. Many DTMU graduates have completed these exams and now work in hospitals and research centres in the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Sweden, and other countries.
